The end of “where do you
want to eat?”

You Pick turns the endless back-and-forth into a quick game of Like and Pass. One person curates a handful of great spots nearby — the other has the final say. The moment you both like the same place, it’s a match.

Two people One craving Zero arguments

How it works

Three steps from “anywhere” to a table you both want.

No group chat. No spreadsheet of options. No one person doing all the deciding.

1

The Host

Curate

Pick a neighbourhood and You Pick lines up great restaurants nearby — real, open, close to you.

2

The invite

Invite

Send a code to your dining partner. They join in a tap — no account, no sign-up required.

3

Both of you

Match

Swipe Like or Pass through the lineup. The first place you both Like is your match. Go eat.

The moment that matters

It’s not a vote. It’s an agreement.

You Pick only ever surfaces the places you both said yes to. Your individual passes stay private — no one sees what you turned down, so there’s nothing to defend and no feelings to bruise.

Mutual likes only. A match means you both chose it — not that someone gave in.
Private passes. What you skip is yours alone. Decisions, not debates.
Made for two. One Host, one dining partner — built for the date, not the committee.

Why it works

Small on purpose. Sharp where it counts.

Every screen is built around one job: getting two people to a place they’re both happy with, fast.

Real places nearby

Restaurants are pulled live for the area you choose — open hours, distance, price and rating included.

Your passes stay private

Only mutual likes are ever revealed. The places you turn down are never shared with your partner.

No account to join

Your dining partner taps the invite and starts swiping. No sign-up, no password, no friction.

Decide in minutes

A focused lineup and a running countdown keep things moving. This is dinner, not a research project.

Light and dark

A warm, editorial look that follows your phone’s appearance — easy on the eyes at any hour.

A nudge when it counts

See when your partner is live and the gentle ping the instant a match lands. No refreshing required.

Questions

The short answers.

Do we both need accounts?
No. The Host opens You Pick and starts a match — no sign-up screen on the way in. The dining partner simply taps the invite or enters the code to join. No password to create.
How many people can join a match?
Two — a Host and one dining partner. You Pick is built for the date, not the committee, which is exactly what keeps it quick and decisive.
Where do the restaurants come from?
From real, current place data for the area the Host picks — so you see spots that are actually nearby and open, with distance, price, rating and hours on each card.
Can my partner see the places I passed on?
Never. Individual swipe decisions stay private. The only thing that surfaces is a match — a place you both liked. What you skipped is yours alone.
What does it cost?
Pricing will be announced at launch. Join the notify list below and you’ll be the first to hear when You Pick lands on the App Store.
